Yi-Ren Medical Qigong Level 2 & 3
Feb 24 @ 10:00 am – 11:00 am
Yi-Ren Medical Qigong Level 2 & 3 @ Healing Circles Langley | Langley | Washington | United States

The Yi Ren system of Qigong is designed to support an individual in the exploration and expression of the intelligence and wisdom already within the body. During Diana’s cancer, Qigong gave her a way to check in with her body, remove stress, and increase her healing capacity.

Level 2 helps you activate the individual organ meridians and learn how they partner with other organs in the body. Level 3 helps you connect to both our innermost chemistry in the neuroendocrine system but also to energies outside of us. You’ll be amazed at what you’ll be able to feel–and how much better you’ll feel .

This class will meet on Mondays at 10 and will be taught by Diana Lindsay, certified instructor for the Institute for Qigong and Integrative Medicine.

This Level 2 & 3 class is for those who have completed Level 1.

Mindfulness meditation in the insight tradition is about seeing things as they really are, free from belief and delusion. By gently noticing and investigating sensations, thoughts and emotions, it trains the mind and opens the heart.

Intended for new and experienced meditators, this circle will support you in creating and sustaining your own regular meditation practice.

Over the winter, we will explore the practicalities of mindfulness meditation. By considering how to apply the Buddha’s teachings in everyday life, this series will support you in developing and maintaining a meditation practice.

The Mystery and Magic of Writing for Self-Discovery @ Soundview Center @ https://www.soundviewcenter.com

Journaling together is a beautiful way to discover those parts of your own story which you want to explore through private writing and group sharing. We wake up to the still small voice within by engaging in contemplative correspondence with our own self. We create an intimate, safe space for you to explore what you need in your life, what is asking to be expressed, and what gives your life meaning. We may also add some guided meditation.

Host: Becky Myrick

Becky has a background in holistic health & spiritual direction. She has led groups about women’s spirituality, living with chronic illness, and creativity.  Becky also teaches people to find play in their bodies and in their stories through InterPlay. She believes self-expression, in an affirmative and encouraging setting, is a remarkable and magical way to find healing, self-love & self- acceptance. Journaling has always been an important part of her own spiritual journey; so sharing its magic with others is a joy for her.

Enrollment is limited. Please contact Becky at becky.myrick@gmail.com to RSVP
