Community
“When we seek for connection, we restore the world to wholeness. Our seemingly separate lives become meaningful as we discover how truly necessary we are to each other.”
Margaret Wheatley
Community Conversations
What is the human potential for healing and wellness? How do we best support each other? How do we make decisions? How do we live well? Join us as we learn together.
Healing Circles Langley is a social hub for addressing these and other questions. In fact, if it’s a leaf on our Tree of Healing, it’s a topic to engage in.
“First Tuesdays” are Community Conversations held on the first Tuesday of each month (unless otherwise noted on our Calendar page). Due to the restrictions caused by the pandemic, this program has been suspended until our re-opening.
Volunteering
We are blessed and amazed by the astounding talent of people who live on South Whidbey–and their wonderful generosity in donating those talents to others. Almost every day, new ideas and new people come through our door, eager to make Healing Circles Langley an even more valued resource in our community.
- Circle of Two volunteers—As humans, we are happier and healthier when we have someone to talk to when we need it. Our Circle of Hearts volunteers are like neighbors who welcome you to the kitchen table or the front porch to have a cup of tea and connect—really good neighbors who know how to listen and support without overstepping.
- Circle Hosts—Our Circle Hosts create safe and creative places to explore our own healing. If you have experience in hosting circles, please let us know.
- Volunteers at large–Our volunteers at large offer what they can when they can. Come in and we’ll match your skills and passions with ours.
If you would like to volunteer at Healing Circles Langley, please consider filling out our Volunteer Application.
Social
Play. Laughter. Music. Walks. Potlucks. Sitting on the benches looking at the view with the bunnies. Joy is not only contagious, it’s healing.
