Art & Community: Celebrating Two Decades of Whidbey Island Center for the Arts.
Join us for a conversation with Stacie Burgua, Executive Director of the Whidbey Island Center for the Arts. Stacie will share her experiences with how WICA emerged from its rocky beginning to the vibrant Arts Center that it is today.
Stacie got involved with WICA in the summer of 1997 as a volunteer, helping with graphic design needs. She became a full-time employee on January 1, 1998, and Executive Director on January 1, 2000; the fourth ED in the first four years of WICA. She plans to retire this August leaving behind two decades of life-enriching experiences and challenges, with gratitude to our community for building this cultural hub in the heart of South Whidbey.
This Community Conversation with take place at WICA, across the street from Healing Circles Langley.
