Conversation on Race: Radical Community Engagement & Inspired Action

June 25, 2020 @ 2:00 pm – 3:30 pm
Free, donations gratefully accepted.

It seems as if the whole world has been impacted by the murder of George Floyd. The brutal, indifferent actions of a uniformed police officer caught on video unveiled for many White people what Black, Indigenous, and People of Color have known and lived all along: racism is inherent in the US way of life and it is killing us.

Join Marcella Pendergrass, Rose Homme, and Diana Sandoval in conversation to deepen our awareness of the patterns of racism evident nationally and here in our South Whidbey community. Let us honor all that we are feeling — from numbness to rage — and let it inspire us to right action.
