A Community Conversation with Peggy Taylor
In this evening conversation Peggy will show how creative expression, personal empowerment, the will to live, and joy are intimately connected. She will talk about her experiences working with groups of youth and adult around the world using the Creative Empowerment Model she developed with Charlie Murphy. Peggy will also introduce you to some easy techniques you can use to switch on your own creativity and bring out the creativity in others.
Peggy leads the Open Circle Singers, an 80-member community choir on South Whidbey, and she is co-founder of Power of Hope: Youth Empowerment through the Arts and Partners for Youth Empowerment. Over the past 20 years she trained several thousand teachers, youth workers, social service professionals, entrepreneurs, and change makers in ways to use creative practices to increase the impact of their work.
