On March 25, the South Whidbey community is hosting Robin DiAngelo’s “Seeing the Racial Water: The role of white people in undoing racism”. Healing Circles will hold one of the three follow-up conversations to this talk.
Race is a wound the country holds. Much of this burden is held by the marginalized, while those in the dominant race often want to turn away. We intend to hold the community in deeper conversations so some deeper healing and change can be made. This healing benefits all.
Six skilled facilitators–Rose Homme, Diana Sandoval, Belinda Griswold, Dan McKee, James deLong, Miik Welles, Janet Staub, and Ann Harvey–will support small-group discussions. Childcare provided by reservation email firstname.lastname@example.org.
