Eco-Human Healing: Connection and Celebration
In this learning circle we introduce participants to ideas and concepts of ecologian Thomas Berry, and others. This is an opportunity to explore, share feelings and ideas, and to practice being fully present to our experience, to be fully in the moment in the service of midwifing Eco-Human healing. In our exploration we will also occasionally turn to various ancient and indigenous traditions and myths, as well as insights from contemporary science.
Second Tuesdays: Sept. 11, Oct. 9, Nov. 13, Dec. 11
Guy Burneko, Ph.D.,Bio:
I’ve been enriched by a life of university teaching, experience living in China, urban and bush Alaska, across the USA and in finding a surprisingly rich community in Langley. What grows in me is suggested by two books and several articles I’ve written – including a newspaper column I wrote in The Tundra Drums in Bethel, AK. I completed an interdisciplinary Ph.D. and appreciate language not only as a medium but as a performance of nondualizing Earth-Human creativity.WEBSITE http://gburneko.blogspot.com/2012/11/buy-burneko-c-v-2012.html See also LinkedIn and FaceBook
