Our relationship with money is the source of stress, insecurity and dis-ease for so many of us. We muddle forward, often in isolation, ashamed of our failures and not wanting to brag about our cleverness or success. Class issues can be painful – the haves and have-nots – but we are connected through community and a bit of truth might set us free.

In this healing circle we can daylight our relationship with money in a safe and environment. It’s not to solve problems or give advice. It’s to peel off the secrecy and see whether fresh air itself can help each of us find our way. It’s also to hear others’ stories so we can glean their good attitudes or ingenious strategies or simple humanity. Money is often no laughing matter – but for sure we’ll laugh at our own tangles and secret pacts with ourselves or long-dead relatives.

We’ll gather using a blend of Conversation Cafe format and traditional Healing Circles agreements. Each week there will be a topic to chew on. You are encouraged to come for all 6 weeks, but if you can come for at least 3 you are welcome.

Register to assure your place by emailing verainnovations@gmail.com with “money circle” in the subject line. Reservations held until 4:25 PM on day of first circle. Thirty people maximum.

Host: Vicki Robin, author of Your Money or Your Life.
