Insight meditation is about seeing things as they really are, free from belief, delusion and artifice. By examining our sensations, feelings and thoughts, it trains the mind and opens the heart. Insight meditation is a stimulating process of self-discovery.
Over seven sessions, we will learn and practice basic insight meditation techniques, including loving awareness, compassion, sympathetic joy, forgiveness, gratitude, generosity and equanimity.
Most sessions include meditation instruction, a period of meditation, a short talk and time for discussion and questions.
Everyone is welcome, no experience necessary. Come to one session or come to all seven.
