Our breath brings us into mindfulness of the moment. This is a weekly drop-in meditation circle in the mindfulness tradition of Thich Nhat Hanh, the great Buddhist monk. We use this practice to create community in a non-denominational way. Each week we have guided, walking and silent meditation followed by sharing to deepen our personal path of calm and presence. Everyone is welcome, no experience necessary, just a desire to practice together in Sangha. Begins promptly at 5:30 PM and ends at 6:30 PM every Tuesday. A few meditation cushions and folding chairs will be available.
The Tuesday mindfulness meditation circle is coming to a close at the end of July, 2018. Peggy, Larry and Erica began the circle three years ago but, since several of our leaders have now moved off the island, it’s time to say thank you to all the many wonderful friends who’ve joined us each week in meditation.
