“This is a self-care practice to nurture our organs’ well-being. We turn our focus onto our organs for 30-40 minutes. Beginning with breath and a relaxed inner smile we visualize and appreciate each of our organs. We “bathe” our organs in specific colors and sounds, releasing stagnation or stuck energy with intention and movement. We then engage with and invite the positive qualities associated with each organ as taught in the 5 Element Tradition.
“This is a particularly useful self-care practice for anyone challenged with chronic stress or illness and it is good for health maintenance. A gentle practice, it can be further adjusted in intensity to one’s level of energy/stamina. It can be done lying down, seated, or standing, with or without arm movement.
“The Six Healing Sounds is one of my favorite practices to do for myself. I have received a lot of positive feedback from those with whom I have shared it and would like to make it more easily available to the community.
“The group setting generally creates a supportive environment, amplifies the benefit of the practice, and encourages practice at home. I can accommodate a maximum of 10 participants.”
