Come and sit in conversation with a Whidbey Island family as they share stories of their recent excursion to the Amazon jungle of Peru from three points of view: father, bonus mom (or stepmom) and son. Their experience of an intensive plant medicine diet included five Ayahuasca ceremonies over a two week period. It delivered unique healing experiences. In our conversation we will tackle questions such as: What seeps through the mind as we step into the unknown? How important is a Shaman in this healing work? What are Master Plants and why take them? Why is a strict diet pre, during and post ceremonies necessary? What are Icaros and what is their significance? What was the significance of this particular retreat center?
