Restorative yoga is an ancient tradition designed to soothe the nerves, calm the mind and release muscular tension. We use props for support. Most of the class is done sitting or lying down. We end with a short session of Yoga nidra (yogic sleep) which is a guided meditation to drop you into a deep healing state.
Everyone welcome, class is free donations to Roots of Wellness and/or Healing Circles appreciated, no yoga experience necessary, drop-in, up to 15 students. Please come early (doors will open at 1:45) to get set-up and secure your place in class.
You must show proof of vaccination, and read and sign an insurance waiver if you aren’t already a student in Val’s classes. Please bring your own mat and wear a mask when going in and out of the yoga room. Props are provided.
